Ford Focus 2022
Ford presents the new Focus. The compact family car has a new look. The Focus is also familiar with advanced technical gadgets.
Ford gives the Focus hatchback and Wagon a new look. The other hood makes the front slightly higher. Together with the higher grille, the Focus looks more present. The LED light units have been slimmed down. The LED taillights have a new design. The Titanium, ST-Line and Active versions each have their own exterior design. Even more distinction is possible by upgrading with an X-pack or Vignale pack for additional or exclusive accessories.
Ford has further developed a number of driver assistance systems. For example, the blind spot detection now also works when a trailer is behind the Focus. If you opt for optional Dynamic Matrix LED lighting, you will benefit from new advanced functions, such as additional illumination of inside bends or light adjustment in the event of rain. The navigation now uses information from the ‘cloud’ to be continuously informed of route and weather changes.
Mild hybrid with automatic transmission
For the first time you can order the economical Ecoboost engine of 155 hp, equipped with mild hybrid technology, with an automatic transmission. This seven-speed dual-clutch powershift contributes to a relaxed and more fuel-efficient drive, plus smooth acceleration. The ‘kickdown’ function makes it possible to downshift up to three gears in one go during fast overtaking actions. With this engine, the start/stop system already works below 12 km/h.
Below you will find an overview of the most important versions and motorisations. From the first quarter of 2022, the renewed Ford Focus will be at dealers. This also applies to the Focus ST, which will then be available in the color Mean Green. In addition, at the same time, the new Focus Wagon will be launched. The station wagon offers more ease of use and space. For example, the trunk has grown to 1,653 liters, with an easy-to-clean ‘wet zone’ for dirty items.
