On the market early 2023

The new Peugeot 408
With the new 408, Peugeot demonstrates its creativity by offering a new fastback silhouette at the top of the C-segment. The Peugeot 408 is surprising because it is different; this new era Peugeot offers a feline pose and a unique appearance.
The Peugeot 408 stands out in the first place for its dynamic fastback silhouette and its unmistakable style, but also because it deviates from the usual form. The lines of the body are sharp, the grille is the same color as the body and defines the front end, together with the new Peugeot emblem that features the lion’s head.
The inverted cut-out of the rear bumper is a surprising detail and provides a powerful look. With the distinctive canine-shaped light signature at the front and claw-like LED taillights, the 408 fits perfectly into the Peugeot family.
With a length of 4,690 mm and a long wheelbase of almost 2,790 mm, the new Peugeot 408 is exceptionally spacious in the second row of seats. The knee room is 188 mm. The trunk is also generous with a volume of 536 litres, which can be increased to 1,611 liters when the rear seat backs are folded down. The car is 1,480 mm high and therefore has a slim silhouette.
The Peugeot 408 has the latest generation of the Peugeot i-Cockpit, recognizable by the small steering wheel that is aimed at driving pleasure and maximum control. The emphasis is on the quality of the interior space and connectivity through the latest technologies, making the driving and travel experience highly intuitive and enjoyable.
The engine range for the Peugeot 408 includes two Plug-in Hybrid versions with 180 and 225 hp, as well as a 130 hp petrol engine. All three engines are mated to an 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission as standard. An all-electric version will follow a few months later.
The new Peugeot 408 will be on the market at the beginning of 2023.
