Siri has secret commands for your iPhone (and this is ’em)

New Siri command on your iPhone

From now on it is possible to restart your iPhone via Siri. That is a nice step, because iOS also sometimes suffers from stuck apps or menus. Restarting your device is also often the solution for slow apps and other problems.

This is how you use the command

All you need to do to restart your iPhone with Siri is say “Hey Siri” to invoke the voice assistant, followed by “restart iPhone.” Then say “Yes” when Siri asks if you’re sure.

Haven’t turned on “Hey Siri” yet? You do this as follows. Go to your iPhone’s settings and navigate to Siri and search. Make sure that Listen to “Hey Siri” is enabled. Also useful to Allow Siri on lock so that you can easily turn on the help of the voice assistant.
