The Chinese manufacturer Xpeng is already active in Norway and will expand to the Netherlands next year. The brand here brings the Model S-like P7 on the market and is now pulling the curtain on an SUV that would certainly be an interesting addition to the Dutch range of electric SUVs.
It was recently announced that the Chinese brand Xpeng will sell its electric cars in more countries in Europe. The brand opens the attack on the Danish, Swedish and Dutch car market. This is where, among other things, at least the interesting P7 on paper comes onto the market. Xpeng has an electric crossover in its range, among other things, and will soon complete its portfolio with Model 3 competitor P5. It is not yet clear exactly what the Dutch program will look like. It is clear that this brand new Xpeng G9 could be an interesting addition.
Extensive information about the G9 keeps Xpeng under wraps, although it is of course immediately clear that the electric newcomer is much more of an SUV than its smaller crossover brother G8. The SUV, according to its creators, has been developed for both the Chinese domestic market and international markets and can handle 800v. That means high charging speeds.
Xpeng describes the G9 as its flagship SUV and the car is full of gadgets. Thanks to lidar units integrated in the headlights, various cameras and smart software, the G9 should be able to find its way through traffic semi-autonomously. Xpeng will release technical data at a later date.
Would the G9 be a welcome addition to Xpeng’s future Dutch delivery range? Let us know in the comments!
