This year marks exactly 10 years since the Scrambler was revived at Ducati as a new 2025 model. Reason for the Italians to reflect on this in an appropriate way in the form of the limited Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition, which should also underline the collaboration with Rizoma.
Although Rizoma parts have been included in the extensive accessory package of the Scrambler since the beginning – with or without a Ducati logo – this is the first time that Ducati has used Rizoma parts in a Scrambler production model.
According to the Italians, the Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition is a real Ducati collector’s item, which pushes the modern, stylistic and inclusive vision of the Land of Joy even further. Produced in a limited series of only 500 pieces and of course each provided with its unique serial number.
Every detail scrutinized by Rizoma for this Ducati Scrambler, starting with the Metal Rose finish, is part of an overall vision in which “the power and importance of the accessories and individual chromatic details enhance the appearance of the bike and complete and strengthen the connection with its rider”, forming a final design with great impact. So claims Ducati.
Another great marketing slogan: “The concept of self-expression, which has always been a fundamental value of Ducati Scrambler, takes on a different meaning in the case of this Rizoma Edition, becoming an element that completes, communicates and improves.”
The color scheme, defined by Rizoma in collaboration with the Center Stile Ducati, is based on the chromatic balance of Stone White, black and Metal Rose. The tank, the engine block, the chassis and details such as the bar-end mirrors or the exhaust system should, according to Ducati, express elegance thanks to the color black, which becomes a base, almost a background to emphasize the details in Metal Rose – lids, footrests, windshield – and create a contrast with the Stone White of the tank cover and the sporty mudguard.
The Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition thus becomes a true sculpture whose three-dimensionality is enhanced by new and refined color combinations, creating a new milestone in the Scrambler journey into the world of art and design.
“Rizoma has succeeded in the difficult task of reinterpreting Scrambler while keeping its essence unchanged. I was struck by the formal accuracy, the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the treatment, including the color, that Rizoma has incorporated into the concept that then became this celebratory version of Scrambler’s tenth anniversary.”
Fabrizio Rigolio, known as the “aluminum tailor”, is the Creative Director and founder of Rizoma. With his sartorial approach, inspired by fashion, he has introduced a new language to the world of motorcycles, where style and technology merge into a unique experience. The Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition project embodies this vision, elevating the motorcycle into a work of art that reflects the soul of the person who rides it. “This Scrambler is different from the others. It is dedicated to the 500 who dare, who look further, who want to leave an indelible impression.”
