Bugatti has built the 250th copy of the Chiron. The birthday boy looks less cheerful than you might expect.
Of the Chiron, the successor of the fierce Veyron presented in 2016, Bugatti will build no more than 500 copies. Recently, 250s was produced in Molsheim, France, a Sport Edition Noire Sportive as it was presented at the end of last year.
The Chiron Sport Edition Noire Sportive is blacker than black and therefore quite sinister. The copy is one of the 20 Chirons of the so-called Noire series, completely in black Chirons that are available as Noire Sportive and as Noire Elégance. The latter distinguishes itself with a shiny carbon carriage and the frequently used aluminum of the regular Chirons and also the shiny light-alloy wheels are a design feature. The Chiron Sport Edition Noire Sportive is extra sinister. The aluminum accents that Bugatti applies to both the inside and the exterior of the Chiron make way for black accents. The carbon also has a matt finish. The 1,500 hp and 1,600 Nm strong W16 is not tampered with and that does not seem to be necessary given the power of that machine.
