Like Tricount, Splid knows how to focus on the essentials. We find a less spartan interface but just as functional. Creating or joining a group is done with a tap on the dedicated button. It indicates the name of the participants with the possibility of adding others a posteriori. Thanks to the sharing link and the associated code, everyone can enter their own expenses and distribute the reimbursement amount equally or not. At the time of the accounts, the application calculates the amounts owed by each.
In addition to some customization options that make its use pleasant, Splid allows you to juggle between currencies. Not surprisingly, this feature actually hides a converter whose exchange rates can be updated. An ideal tool to know the exact amount of money spent in foreign currency.
