Apple has prepared a major update for Pages, Keynote, Numbers and more. But there is also a disadvantage to this.
3 Popular Apple Apps Have Major Updates (But That’s Not Good News)
Apple has given its iWork apps Pages, Keynote and Numbers a major overhaul for iOS 26, iPadOS 26 and macOS Tahoe. The update is completely in line with the new Liquid Glass look that you already see in more places on your devices. This is the transparent appearance that makes everything appear to be made of glass.

Pages, Keynote and Numbers have received three improvements. First of all, there is the Liquid Glass design. In addition, there are new shapes and figures that you can use in your apps. And iPad users get something extra, because in iPadOS 26 your iPad now has support for the menu bar in the improved version of the apps.
Apple Creator Studio: subscription with more features
But that’s not the only thing Apple has changed. Apple now has Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription with multiple apps. Subscribers get access to the following tools:
- Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad;
- Motion, Compressor and MainStage on Mac;
- Smart features and premium content for Keynote, Pages and Numbers;
- Smart features and premium content for Freeform on iPhone, iPad and Mac (coming soon).
The above apps have received several new features that are not included in the free version. For example, there are smart functions and shared iCloud files can now be up to 4GB in size, which is especially nice for presentations with a lot of media.

But apps also get their own updates. For example, the Numbers update has a new feature called ‘Magic Fill’, which can recognize patterns and suggest formulas. And if you have a Mac with M1 or later, you can use Writing Assistant with Apple Intelligence to summarize text, among other things.
Creator Studio’s paid features cost $12.99 monthly, and an annual subscription costs $129. For this price you get access to all new features in Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, MainStage, Keynote, Pages and Numbers.
On the iPhone and iPad, you install the apps as an update over the existing apps. Things are a little different on the Mac. The new versions (and therefore also the Creator Studio versions) come as new downloads.
