1. Typing with tactile feedback

Do you like it when your iPhone makes a sound while typing? Your neighbor probably doesn’t. There is a better alternative, because with the following setting you get feedback when typing texts. You then feel a slight vibration, as if you are touching a real button. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Open the iPhone’s Settings app;
  2. Go to ‘Hearing and feeling’;
  3. Tap ‘Keyboard Feedback’;
  4. Enable the ‘Tactile’ option.

2. Copy and paste edits

Have you edited an image and want to apply the adjustments to a similar image? In these iPhone tips, we’ll show you how to copy and paste them.

  1. Open the Photos app and tap on an edited image;
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right;
  3. Select ‘Copy edits’;
  4. Go to another image and tap the three dots at the top right;
  5. Tap ‘Paste Edits’.

3. Hide the new Spotlight button

At the bottom of the home screen is a button that quickly takes you to the search function. Not happy with the function? You can also remove it:

  1. Open the Settings app;
  2. Tap ‘Home screen & app library’;
  3. Set the ‘Show on home screen’ option to gray.

4. Quickly delete a contact

The last tip in this iPhone tips is about cleaning up your contacts list. That is always a time-consuming task, but there is a way to quickly bounce a contact:

  1. Open the Contacts app;
  2. Long press a contact you want to remove;
  3. Select ‘Delete contact’;
  4. Confirm with ‘Delete contact’.
