Roof shape ‘LB744’ in the picture
The successor to the Lamborghini Aventador, which still has the working name LB744, now shows its ‘monofuselage’.
Earlier this month we were extensively updated about the technical side of the LB744. For example, we know that the car will have a 6.5-liter V12 as usual, but with three electric motors and a total of more than 1,000 horsepower. If you want to know more about this, it is better to read the previous article. Today it is about what Lamborghini calls the ‘Monofuselage’, roughly translated a ‘one-piece fuselage’. That is the collective name for the carbon monocoque and the front part. The front structure is made of forged composite and is said to be 20 percent lighter than its aluminum predecessor. In total, according to Lamborghini, the ‘monofuselage’ is 10 percent lighter than the chassis of the Aventador.
The attached photos also allow us to say something about the appearance of the Aventador successor, although it is not much. We see that the car gets recognizable proportions, with a – of course – placed quite far forward cockpit. Just like an Aventador, the windscreen is very large and starts above the front wheels. The roof has two clear folds, which are also clearly different from the Aventador.
