It took a while, but LiveWire has announced its entry into the European market. Reservations of the LiveWire One are possible from March 15, deliveries are expected in April 2023.

LiveWire available in the Netherlands from March 15

In case you missed it: two years ago Harley-Davidson launched LiveWire as a separate EV motorcycle brand and the name Harley-Davidson LiveWire was changed to LiveWire ONE. Although in principle it was exactly the same engine, but with a different logo on the ‘tank’, LiveWire’s network was only limited to the home country.

However, a lot of work has been done behind the scenes, so that the electric motorcycle brand has also been able to enter the European market today. In other words: a very limited part of the European market: Germany, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Reservations on the LiveWire ONE can be made from March 15 in these four countries. LiveWire ONE launches in three colors and is available in Nimbus Gray, Nightfall Blue and Liquid Black. Reservations are managed by the LiveWire Europe team, which offers a digital-first model where consumers can interact directly with the brand and choose colour, accessories, delivery time and their preferred retailer.

With over thirty retailers across Europe, each equipped with specialized EV capabilities to support the LiveWire customer, LiveWire will be hosting events and demo opportunities around the LiveWire ONE this summer. Further information will be communicated via email and socials. Specific locations by country can be found at www.livewire.com.

Jochen Zeitz, Chairman and CEO of LiveWire:

“We are excited to bring LiveWire One to Europe as part of our global expansion strategy. Following our successful launch in the United States, our four European launch markets have the perfect mix of EV infrastructure and EV consumer adoption to drive the next phase of LiveWire’s development.”

LiveWire ONE
The electric LiveWire ONE has a soulful design and offers a new experience of speed and sound, with a claimed range of more than 224 km in the city and more than 144 km of mixed range on the highway and in the city.

The 15.4 kWh package propels the bike from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds. LiveWire ONE is equipped with a full suite of advanced traction control and ABS safety features using a 6-axis IMU to adapt to different skill levels and riding styles.

Equipped with two charging methods as standard, LiveWire ONE offers the convenience of overnight charging using Level 1 and fast charging via DC fast charging, with only 30 minutes for a 20% to 80% charging scenario.

The big difference compared to the version that still had the Harley-Davidson logo is in the price, which is now a lot lower. For LiveWire ONE, € 25,390 must be tapped and although that is still quite the price, it saves more than a sip on a drink compared to the 33K that had to be deposited for the Harley.
