For sporty motorcyclists who also venture on the road outside the summer season, Dainese has something new: the Super Rider 2 Absoluteshell. Sporty looks and protection combined with a waterproof and breathable Absoluteshell membrane.
With looks tailored to the supersport and sporty naked segment, and influences from the Dainese racing department – including the aluminum hard parts on the shoulders and the speed hump on the back – the Super Rider 2 looks like a jacket for the typical sporty rider. True, but a rider who can also comfortably ride when the sun does not show itself, or worse!
The Dainese Super Rider 2 comes standard with a removable Absoluteshell membrane. With the membrane in it, rain has no chance to penetrate the body, while the high breathability of the Absoluteshell ensures that perspiration finds its way to the outside. The result: dry and comfortable on the road when the weather lets you down.
The Super Rider 2 has been developed as a true all-rounder, so that the jacket also performs when it is pleasant outside. When the waterproof membrane is removed from the jacket, a sporty blow-through jacket is created, because the mesh panels on the front, back and arms let the fresh air through directly.
With or without the Absolute Shell membrane, the Super Rider 2 offers the protection that matches the sporty appearance. Leather in strategic places ensures abrasion resistance, while CE-approved protectors on shoulders and elbows provide impact protection. Optionally, this protection can be expanded with a back and chest protector. Thanks to adjustment options on the hips, sleeves and upper arm and the use of Mugello stretch material, the fit of the Super Rider 2 is maintained at all times. Thanks to a fastening zipper at the bottom of the jacket, it can easily be zipped to the trousers.
The Absolute Shell membrane marks the new generation of waterproof products from Dainese. Developed in-house to provide comfort in all situations for the discerning motorcyclist, this membrane offers waterproofness in all conditions without compromising on breathability.
