Green with green
Through its Manufaktur program, Mercedes-AMG is expanding the number of possible color combinations for the SL. More colors will soon be available not only for the interior and the body, but you can also order the convertible top in dark blue from now on.
At the Manufaktur department of Mercedes-Benz you can now choose from eight additional paint colors for the Mercedes-AMG SL. These are two uni lacquers (‘vintage blue’ and ‘silicon grey’), two metallic lacquers (‘côte d’azur blue’ and (‘rubelite red’) and four matt lacquers: black, silver, gray and green. The latter is even exclusive to the SL available, only Mercedes-Benz shares a picture of it.
Mercedes’ Manufaktur offers seven additional colors for the interior, which are mainly reflected on the seats: red, another red, rose grey, beige, blue, brown and … green! In addition, the fabric roof can now be ordered in dark blue. On the inside of the car, Manufaktur’s efforts are further limited to a few logos, high-pile floor mats and extra stitching.
The additional trim options can now be ordered from all Mercedes-Benz dealers. That does not yet apply to the gray, green and silver matt paint: those three will only be available from the fourth quarter of this year.
