Cupra Born from now on for less than €40,000

Cupra introduces a new entry-level version of the Born. It listens to the name Impulse and pushes the previously called Essential basic version from the price list. The Cupra Born Impulse has the well-known 58 kWh battery and the 204 hp electric motor on the rear axle. On a full charge you can travel 427 kilometers with it. Its starting price: €39,990. The previous basic version of the Born, the Impulse, was on the Dutch price list from €42,990.

The Cupra Born Impulse has standard 18-inch alloy wheels, full LED lighting, rear privacy glass, a heated steering wheel and front and rear parking sensors. The infotainment system with a 30.4-inch screen is also standard. Cupra introduces a second new version for the Born. It is called Edition and will now take the place of the Business version. It is therefore a step above the Impulse and costs €41,990. That Edition version is also only available in combination with the least potent powertrain, so the one with 204 hp and 58 kWh battery. The Born Edition has extras, including extensive adaptive cruise control, the Pre-Crash system, a navigation system, a reversing camera, a high beam assistant and traffic sign recognition. Seat heating is also part of the Edition party.

Up to 550 kilometers range

The new Cupra Born flavors will be delivered from September. The Impulse and Edition are the only versions of the Born that qualify for SEPP purchase subsidy. Of course, the Cupra Born is also available with other powertrains. For example, the 58 kWh battery can also be combined with a 231 hp electric motor and you can also get the electric hatchback with a 77 kWh battery and a 231 hp electric heart.
