Kia EV6

Kia introduces three new versions for the electric EV6. The Kia EV6 is available as a Light Edition, Edition and GT-Line Edition. With the cheapest of these you are eligible for SEPP purchase subsidy. But be quick, these are temporarily available variants.

The Kia EV6 has so far had a starting price of €48,995. For that amount, the Korean is on the menu as Air, a rear-wheel drive variant with a 170 hp electric motor on the rear axle and a 58 kWh battery. The regular EV6 entry-level model is too expensive to qualify for SEPP purchase subsidy. Kia is now introducing three temporarily available Edition versions, of which you are eligible for government support with the least expensive.

The first new temporarily available variant is called Light Edition. This version also has the 170 hp electric motor and the 58 kWh battery, a combination that is good for a range of 394 kilometers. The rear-wheel drive has a starting price of €45,995, but because the fiscal price (list value) is €44,065 under 45 grand, it is eligible for the financial compensation of €2,950. The Light Edition has two 12.3-inch displays, a navigation system, active lane assist, smart adaptive cruise control and dual-zone climate control. Front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, heated steering wheel, battery heater and 19-inch alloy wheels are also standard.

Edition

The second new temporarily available run is named Edition. Unlike the Light Edition, the Kia EV6 Edition has the larger 77.4-kWh battery and a 229-horsepower rear electric motor. It is good for a range of 528 kilometers. €51,995 is the purchase price for the EV6 Edition. You can forget SEPP subsidy with this variant.

The Edition has the same equipment as the Light Edition, with the addition of an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function and an adjustable lumbar support for the co-driver. In addition, the Edition has additional safety systems, including a blind spot assistant and exit protection. The Kia EV6 Edition costs €51,995.

GT Line Edition

The third new version of the EV6 – the GT-Line Edition – also has the 77.4 kWh battery and the 229 hp electric motor. It is standard on 20-inch light metal and thus shrinks the range to a still very deserving 504 km. As its name implies, the GT-Line Edition has the GT-Line appearance and, compared to the Edition, has extras such as a heat pump, matrix LED headlights, an electrically operated tailgate, recessed handles in the doors, dynamic turn signals, a induction charger and front seats with what Kia calls a “relax function.” The EV6 GT-Line Edition costs €57,995.
