The router has 4G/5G support up to 6 Gbps, a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet connection and it also offers Wi-Fi 6E for up to 32 users with a maximum throughput of up to 3600 Mbps. Due to its size, weight (560 grams) and rechargeable battery (5040 mAh), it is intended for on the road or temporary locations; it can also be connected to the mains via the USB-C adapter. It is also equipped with a 2.8 inch touch screen and a SIM slot. Configuration and control is done via the screen, the Netgear Mobile app, web access or professional cloud access via Netgear Insight Pro.
Speedtest gives a download of about 95 Mbps, an upload of about 15 Mbps with a ping of about 17 ms: not yet the ultimate speeds promised for the near future, but rising as more 5G bands are released. Wifi has 3 transmission powers with Low, Medium and High, the latter only works if the battery is removed and the M6 ​​receives mains power. The M6 ​​is a small 5G hotspot router with the latest techniques and many configuration and setting options. The WiFi transmission power is limited, the suggested retail price is high, but you get one state of the art product for.
