What we already know about the iPhone 15
The rumor mill is running at full speed and Apple’s Wonderlust event is getting closer. Thanks to the many leaks, there were already a lot of spoilers surrounding the new phones.
There will once again be four iPhone 15 models (just like last year), we already know what the colors will be and that the Pro model will use titanium as a material for the frame. However, there is still one big question mark.

Naming dilemma: Pro Max or Ultra?
Ah, the big cliffhanger: will Apple’s latest 6.7-inch flagship be the iPhone 15 Pro Max or the iPhone 15 Ultra? Until recently, all insiders agreed: “This year it will be Pro Max, dear people!” But then Apple expert Andrew O’Hara came up with the rumor that it was going to be the previously heard iPhone 15 Ultra name.
And now there’s Mark Gurman, the Sherlock Holmes of Apple leaks, with yet another plot twist. According to him, it is not yet clear what it will be, but one thing is certain: it will be either Pro Max or Ultra. But certainly not both.
This is why the name is important
You would think, a name is just a name, right? But ‘Ultra’ sounds like you have a superhero in your pocket, while ‘Pro Max’ sounds more like a protein shake for bodybuilders. We from iPhoned In any case, I think Ultra is much cooler.
Moreover, for the first time, the iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra) seems to really differ from its smaller Pro brother. The phone will reportedly have a periscope camera, allowing you to zoom even further. Apple may find that an ultra-good addition.

Apple is a bit like the Netflix of the tech world; you don’t have to wait until the next season for a new episode. They already released a yellow iPhone 14 earlier this year, six months after the big fall reveal. So there may even be a chance that an iPhone 15 Pro Max will be presented next week on September 12, and that the iPhone 15 Ultra will be released in a few months. Only Apple knows for sure.
