Normally they never do it in the second year, but this time they decided differently at Suzuki. The new GSX-8S is available in two new colors for model year 2024, expanding the color palette to 5.
We are now convinced that Suzuki has a damn fine bike with the new GSX-8S, a bike that rides great on the street, can keep plenty of fast guys behind it on the track and also proves to be damn economical. With petrol prices now well over 2 euros per liter, that’s nice. Especially when frugality has not come at the expense of the fun factor.
We will go into this in more detail in part three of our GSX-8S dossier, but we would like to reveal – spoiler alert – that we have discovered that it is more economical than many 125cc. The great thing is that you have a large influence on the consumption: go crazy on Mettet and he will drink you completely dry, but drive normally and you will be rewarded with a super economical engine.
The only thing we were less enthusiastic about from the start were the color schemes that Suzuki had come up with: black, blue and white/blue, of which the black was too black and the blue was too blue. Only the white version with blue frame, blue wheels and blue accents was spot-on in that respect.
As if they have now reached the same conclusion at Suzuki, the color palette has been expanded for model year 2024 with another two colors that do justice to the motorcycle: a gray variant with a black frame that certainly does not look like a gray mouse and a black variant with blue accents , blue frame and blue wheels.
The new color schemes for the Suzuki GSX-8S can be ordered immediately. An extensive range of accessories is available for the GSX-8S, including attractively priced packages such as the Street Extreme pack. The GSX-8S is available from 9,999 euros and comes with a 6-year warranty as standard.
