There was some confusion last week, as Apple released iOS 17.0.2 for the iPhone 15 models and iOS 17.0.1 for all other phones at almost the same time. Now, however, iOS 17.0.2 is available to everyone. This is why you need to update immediately!
iOS 17.0.2 for all iPhones
As mentioned, iOS 17.0.2 came to all iPhone 15 models last week. During the initial configuration of the new phones, it was also clearly pointed out to you that it is useful to install the update immediately. iOS 17.0 (and 17.0.1) contains a bug that can cause problems when switching from an old iPhone to a new one. It was therefore very important that everyone with a brand new iPhone immediately received the update.
Do you have an iPhone 15? Then there is a good chance that you have iOS 17.0.2. already on your phone. On the other hand, do you still have an older iPhone? Then you can quickly sprint to ‘Settings>General>Software update’. But are there exactly the same changes in that update?

iOS 17.0.2 fixes switching issue
According to our information, iOS 17.0.2 for older iPhones contains the exact same bug fix. Only in this case it is less bad, because you are probably not going to immediately switch to an old iPhone that was updated to iOS 17 a week ago.
But we can now reassure you for the future. You can now switch from an older iPhone to a slightly older iPhone with iOS 17 without any problems.
