In that case you will soon be able to record a voicemail in WhatsApp. With missed telephone calls, a button appears in the latest version of WhatsApp, with which you can record a speech message.
For years, the telephone app has the opportunity to speak in a voicemail, in contrast to WhatsApp. That will change soon, because you can leave a speech message after a missed telephone conversation. This is easy with a new button in WhatsApp, which appears as soon as the telephone call remains unanswered. That way you can still record a message, the recipient can then play it at a later time in the conversation.
Calling in WhatsApp gets better
With the new button, WhatsApp gets much better, because you no longer need a telephone app to record voicemails. Calling via WhatsApp has several advantages, so you do not use calling minutes from your data bundle. Instead, use an internet connection so that you can call free of charge. Do you have a small data bundle? Then make sure that you do not call via your mobile network, because then your mobile data will go through it quickly.
Calling via WhatsApp is an easy way to call for free. In addition to the new button for recording voicemails, WhatsApp is working on more useful functions to call. This way you can also set reminders for missed telephone calls. Have you missed an incoming call? Or did someone not answer your conversation? You can set a reminder for that in the latest version of WhatsApp, so that you can still call at a later time.
Release of new functions
Do you call regularly via WhatsApp? Then you will soon get two useful functions. It is not yet clear when the new button and reminders will be added to WhatsApp. Meta regularly introduces more features to the messaging service. These are first available in the test version of WhatsApp, so that a small number of users can try out the new functions.
