Currently in two versions, Cabrio will follow
The car that will be tasked with replacing both the Mercedes-Benz C-class Coupé and E-class Coupé costs just under €70,000 in the Netherlands. AutoWeek can report this before Mercedes-Benz itself releases the prices of the new coupe.
The Coupé and Cabriolet versions of the previous Mercedes-Benz C and E-class are followed by one model: the Mercedes-Benz CLE. The CLE comes as a Coupé and as a Cabriolet and AutoWeek can now tell you what the CLE Coupé will cost. The Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupé will initially only come to the Netherlands as a 200 and as a 300 4Matic and is priced from almost €70,000.
Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe
Mercedes-Benz asks €69,763 for the CLE Coupé. For that amount you can drive the CLE 200 Coupé with a mild-hybrid 2.0 four-cylinder petrol engine. In the rear-wheel drive CLE 200 Coupé, that hardware is good for 204 hp (+23 hp mild hybrid). There is little to choose from when it comes to versions. For example, the CLE 200 Coupé, just like the CLE 300 4Matic Coupé, has always been designed as an AMG Line. The CLE 200 Coupé reaches a speed of 100 km/h from a standstill in 7.5 seconds. Its top speed is 240 km/h.
And what does the CLE 300 4Matic cost? Well: €79,618. For that money you get a four-wheel drive CLE that, like the less powerful CLE 200, has a mild-hybrid 2.0 four-cylinder petrol engine under the hood. In the CLE 300 4Matic, however, the drivetrain is good for 258 hp (+23 hp mild hybrid). Both CLEs shift gears with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. The CLE 300 4Matic accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
Price-wise, the CLE is currently somewhere between the outgoing C and E Coupé. The C-class Coupé cost €60,019 as a 184 hp C 200 AMG Line, while you paid at least €85,703 for the E-class Coupé as a 197 hp E 200 Coupé.
The Mercedes-Benz CLE Convertible has already been shown, but what it will cost is not yet known.
