Last ‘T’ for a Ferrari
The RDW has now issued all license plates that start with a T, so it is now time for the next letter. For license plates this is the X, which means we have almost reached the end of the current license plate series. The very last T license plate is on something very special.
The last issued license plate at the time of writing is X-518-BB, although this is constantly changing and the RDW website is of course not exactly keeping up with the license plate issue. Anyway, as of today, according to the service, we have started working on the ‘X’, and the undersigned has had to F5 a lot to be able to say that. The first license plate of the series, X-001-BB, is on an imported BMW T-999-ZZ.
After the This is followed by a series with the format XXX-99-X, i.e. ‘three letters – two numbers – one letter, which means that for the first time there is a series of three characters uninterrupted at the beginning of the license plate. Such a new series often presents itself before all license plates from the ‘old’ series have been used. This is reportedly done to make the input moment unpredictable, so that people do not wait for it. In addition, not all letters or letter combinations are used. You can read more about that here.
