Sandero is the most popular Dacia in the Netherlands

Dacia is and remains a huge player in Europe. The Dacia Sandero is for the umpteenth time the most popular car in Europe among private individuals.
Dacia proudly reports that it sold 493,511 cars in the first three quarters of this year. That was 16.7 percent more than in the same period last year. In the third quarter, Dacia sold 148,124 cars, 2.4 percent more than in the third quarter of 2022.
Of the almost 500,000 cars that Dacia has already sold this year, no fewer than 199,516 were Dacia Sandero. Sandero sales increased by 18.3 percent compared to the number of Sanderos sold in the first nine months of 2022. Dacia proudly reports that the Sandero has managed to maintain its position as the most popular car among European private individuals.
The Duster doesn’t even perform much worse than the Sandero. This year, Dacia has already sold 154,460 Dusters, 4.1 percent more than in the first three quarters of last year. The Jogger already sold 70,932 copies this year. The electric Spring has already generated 44,262 signed contracts for Dacia this year, 40.6 percent more than in the first nine months of 2022.
France is and remains Dacia’s largest European market. Of the almost 500,000 cars sold this year, 118,495 found an owner in France. So almost a quarter of the total.
Dacia in the Netherlands
In the Netherlands, 4,796 new Dacias were registered in the first three quarters of this year. The Sandero is also Dacia’s biggest success in the Netherlands. Of those almost 4,800 new Dacias, 1,728 (36 percent) were Sanderos. The Jogger follows with 1,356 copies. This year, 1,155 units of the Dacia Spring were registered in the Netherlands. With 557 registered copies so far this year, the Duster is the least popular Dacia in our country.
