From €51,800
The Subaru Crosstrek is now also ready for its Dutch adventure. The successor to the XV will be available soon and we now know what it costs.
More than a year ago, the third generation of the Subaru Crosstrek appeared on the other side of the world. Here in the Netherlands we knew the Crosstrek as the Subaru XV. So this new Crosstrek is essentially a new XV with a name that is now the same worldwide. The fact that it succeeds the XV cannot be missed from its appearance. Although it has a significantly different front, a lot of the outgoing XV can still be seen in the window line, among other things. We also see familiar things on a technical level, because it still shares its chassis with its predecessor and the mild-hybrid 2.0 boxer engine is also present again.
AutoWeek understands from Subaru that the power source is slightly less powerful than in the XV: 136 hp instead of 150 hp. This also translates into lower CO2 emissions, which is beneficial for the BPM and the new price. That is €51,800 for the Comfort, which is about €3,000 less than the starting price of the XV. It must be said that the XV was previously also available for around €51,000, but the price increased due to the deletion of the entry-level version, called Luxury. The Subaru Crosstrek is available as a Luxury and costs €53,800, as a Premium it is available for €55,800.
The Subaru Crosstrek can be admired at Subaru dealers from December 1 and will be available in our country from January 1. There will be more good news for Subaru on January 1, because an eight-year warranty will become standard on every new Subaru, including this Crosstrek.
