A new update for your Apple Watch has been released this week, because watchOS 10.2 is available. Instead, you had to press and hold the screen for a few seconds to view the available watch faces on your Apple Watch. You could then use the DigitalCrown switch between the different watch faces, or by swiping left or right across the display. With watchOS 10.2 it is possible to switch directly between your watch faces again. That’s how you do that!
Switch between watch faces on your Apple Watch
The fact that it was no longer possible to switch directly between watch faces since watchOS 10 caused quite a few complaints. Apple has listened to the criticism and has decided to bring the feature back in watchOS 10.2. To do this, you have to manually enable the feature, so that you can easily change the watch faces on your Apple Watch. It goes like this:
- Go to ‘Settings’ on your Apple Watch;
- Choose ‘Clock’;
- Turn on “Swipe to change watch faces.”
Have you enabled the feature? You can then easily browse between all your watch faces again, without first pressing the screen of your Apple Watch for a few seconds. This way you can quickly choose the right background for every situation, which is most useful at that moment. Do you hardly ever change your watch face? Then it is advisable to keep the function disabled, so that you do not accidentally adjust the dial.
