Philips Hue Dymera, cord for filament lamps and Perifo T-connector launched

Philips Hue regularly releases new products, such as the Festavia outdoor cord lighting and the Hue E14 ball lamp. Now Philips Hue is announcing new products, such as the Dymera wall lamp, the new Philips Hue cord for filament lamps and the new Philips Hue Perifo T-connector. In addition, the previously announced Philips Hue Secure camera starter kit and the Philips Hue Secure floodlight camera are now available, as well as new features in the app.

Philips Hue Dymera wall lamp
The new Philips Hue Dymera wall lamp has a unique design and directs the LED light both up and down on the wall for an architectural look. This gives every room a refined style. The two separately controllable lamps can be operated with one tap in the Hue app. The Philips Hue Dymera wall lamp is weatherproof and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors.

Philips Hue cord for filament lamps
The new Philips Hue cord for filament lamps is specially made to complement the popular Philips Hue filament lamps. The cord can be easily mounted above a coffee or dining table and used together with a filament lamp as an eye-catcher in the home. It is available in black or white and in two sizes, so it can easily fit into any interior. The 3D printed parts are made from 55% bio-circular material consisting of waste and residual materials of biological origin1. The cord is exclusively available on philips-hue.com.

Philips Hue Perifo T connector
The new Philips Hue Perifo T connector allows tracks to run in three different directions, so you can illuminate the entire room with smart track lighting. The Philips Hue Perifo flexible connector offers complete flexibility over the shape of the rail, as the connector allows the rails to run in any direction and outside a 90 degree angle. This offers more options to create any form of track lighting and even run track lighting from your wall to your ceiling. Both connectors are available in black and white.

Philips Hue Secure system improved
You can read the review of the previously announced Philips Hue Secure camera starter kit and the Philips Hue Secure floodlight camera in PC-Active 334 and they are now available. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the Philips Hue Secure camera starter kit is specially designed to give new users a full range of smart home security capabilities. This starter kit contains a white Philips Hue Secure wired camera – which includes a power supply unit and wall mount to install the camera wherever you want – two white contact sensors, two standard lamps with white and colored light with E27 fitting and a Hue Bridge, which gives access to all the features that the Philips Hue Secure system has to offer. With features such as live view, night vision and two-way talk, Philips Hue Secure can send you notifications of potential security risks or deter intruders with unique light and sound alarms. The starter kit integrates smoothly into the Philips Hue system and works well with your Hue lamps and accessories.
The Philips Hue Secure spotlight with security camera combines light and security and has been specially developed for outdoor use to keep an eye on your backyard, patio or driveway. When you activate a light alarm from the Philips Hue app, the spotlight instantly illuminates a large area in any color, such as bright white or even red. The Philips Hue Bridge is required to use the Secure spotlight with security camera.

Upcoming features for Philips Hue Secure
Finally, Philips Hue is constantly bringing new features to the Security Center of the Philips Hue app. New updates are expected in the first half of 2024 and include security improvements to push notifications and the event timeline, as well as automatic light and sound alarms when motion is detected. In addition, Philips Hue is working on developing support for Amazon Alexa and Google Home for the Philips Hue Secure system.

Prices and availability
The Philips Hue Dymera wall lamp will be available from February 27, 2024 and has a suggested retail price of 219.99 euros. The Philips Hue cord in black or white for filament lamps will be available in February, has suggested retail prices of 59.99 euros (size M) and 69.99 euros (size L) and is exclusively available on philips-hue.com. The Philips Hue Perifo flexible connector is available from February 6, 2024 and T-connector (available in Q1 2024) and has a suggested retail price of 34.99 euros. The Philips Hue Secure camera starter kit is available from January 23, 2024 and has a recommended retail price of 399.99 euros, while the Philips Hue Secure spotlight with security camera is also available from yesterday for a recommended retail price of 349.99 euros.
