Install beta version

Before you can receive the public betas, you must first install the beta program on your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV. You can read in detail how to do this here.

Once it’s installed, you can download the beta on your iPhone or iPad via Settings â–¸ General â–¸ Software Update or via iTunes. Download the beta for macOS via  â–¸ System Settings â–¸ General â–¸ Software Update. Click here for more information about updating on other devices.

We recommend only installing the betas on devices you don’t use every day. In the event of problems, a complete repair of your device may be necessary. In addition, betas slow down your device and drastically reduce battery life.
