The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G are available for sale from today. These latest smartphones from the popular A series offer striking screens, good security features and new camera options. Read all prices and specifications in this article.

Today, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G, which according to this South Korean technology company should make the best mobile innovations accessible to everyone. Both devices have extensive security features such as Knox Vault, new camera options inspired by the innovations of Galaxy’s flagship S24 series and an impressive screen that adapts to the environment with Vision Booster.

Screens
The Super AMOLED screens of the new devices are brighter than ever. And thanks to Vision Booster, the 6.6-inch screen remains [1] of both the Galaxy A55 5G and the Galaxy A35 5G clear and bright under different lighting conditions.

Photos under all conditions
Thanks to improved Nightography, the Galaxy A55 5G should take clear and vivid photos even in the dark. The Galaxy A55’s advanced AI Image Signal Processing (ISP) captures impressive landscape shots in low light. And it’s not just the landscapes that look good: the Night Portrait mode and 12-bit HDR video ensure that people also come into their own.
Both the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G offer extensive photo capabilities, such as optical image stabilization (OIS) and digital image stabilization for video (VDIS), which help keep photos and videos sharp even when taken on the go.

Intelligent security
This year, Samsung is making one of the most innovative security features of the Galaxy flagship devices available for the first time on the Galaxy A series. Samsung Knox Vault is a hardware-based and tamper-resistant security solution that provides comprehensive protection against both hardware and software attacks. A kind of private vault where privacy-sensitive data is automatically stored such as passwords, fingerprint, face ID, location, banking details and accounts, helping to protect the most critical data on the device. The Private Vault detects all digital attacks and immediately blocks access to data.
For even more protection, the Galaxy A Series offers Auto Blocker, a suite of additional security options. When Auto Blocker is enabled, it can block app installations from unauthorized sources, app security controls [2] to scan for possible malware and block malicious commands and software installations on the device when it is connected via a USB cable. Users can also access the Galaxy Security and Privacy Dashboard. This allows them to easily check what happens to their data and revoke any authorizations when necessary. With Private Sharing (part of Quick Share), private files can be shared securely and encrypted. Users can manage the recipient’s access rights, the file’s expiration date, and they can limit screenshots or downloads.

Updates
The new Galaxy A series shows that Samsung is doing a lot to ensure that the Galaxy devices remain safe and up to date for longer. With the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G, users get up to four generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and five years of security updates. This extends the life cycle of the devices with the latest Galaxy and Android functions.

Connected to the growing Samsung Galaxy ecosystem
The Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G are fully compatible with the Galaxy ecosystem, ensuring users have a smooth experience with other Galaxy devices. They can track their fitness goals by connecting the Galaxy Fit3 or Galaxy Watch6 to their Galaxy A series smartphone. And with Auto Switch, incoming calls are automatically forwarded to the connected Galaxy Buds FE.
