You can use the standard Mail application to bundle all your email accounts. Of course, all changes are synchronized, whether for iCloud, Gmail, etc.
By default, email messages are sorted by date and the newest first, so you always have the latest new email messages at the top of the list. That is useful, but it can also be done differently. For example, you can sort by date, but with all your unread messages at the top, or sort by subject.
Sort mail on a Mac
- Open the Mail application
- Navigate to the mailbox you want to modify
- Click on ‘View’ in the menu bar
- Choose ‘Sort by’
- Make a choice between the options

This way you can sort them by size, subject, to, etc. At the bottom of this menu you can choose whether you want to sort content ‘ascending’ or ‘descending’.
A useful function for ordering is ‘Unread’, which places all unread messages at the top of the list and below that all email messages are sorted by date. Recommended!
Filter instead of sorting
It is already possible to add different mailboxes via the Mail application for iPhone, iPad and Mac. This way you can immediately view all incoming messages or just the email you received today. But there is more, you can also use the filter option.
It is possible to activate a filter in Mail in both macOS and iOS. This option allows you to filter within a mailbox and, for example, display only unread e-mail messages or only the marked ones.
