Photo worth seeing: How inductive charging is changing our energy supply

Nejila Parspour, director of the Institute for Electrical Energy Conversion (IEW) at the University of Stuttgart, has been working on inductive charging for more than twenty years: The Research at the IEW on contactless energy transmission offers, among other things, the prospect of reducing the problem of the range of electric cars, developing new options in medical technology for supplying energy to heart support systems and minimizing sources of error in energy transmission.
