Fairphone is launching the next generation of wireless earbuds with the Fairbuds. The new Fairbuds are designed to last, are easy to use and offer premium sound. In line with Fairphone’s mission, a total of seven spare parts can be easily replaced. The parts are the separate earbuds, earbud battery, silicone ring, eartips, the outside of the charging case, the core of the charging case and the battery of the charging case. If you lose an earplug, a replacement can easily be ordered. Replaceable batteries are the key to long-lasting earbuds: declining battery life is one of the top reasons users throw away working earbuds.

The Fairbuds come with good sound that is expertly tuned with high-quality 11mm titanium-coated drivers. Users experience the latest active noise cancelling (ANC) with wind reduction mode and very clear conversations, both indoors and outdoors, thanks environmental noise cancelling (ENC). The Fairbuds feature six built-in microphones as well as multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, so two devices can be connected simultaneously. With a playback time of up to 26 hours (with the charging case) and an IP54 rating for sweat and weather resistance, the Fairbuds are made for use on the go. Users can also fully personalize the sound using the eight-band equalizer on the dedicated Fairbuds app, available for both Android and iOS devices.

• All plastics used in the Fairbuds and the charging case are recycled. In total, the products are made from 70% recycled material.
• Fairphone uses 100% recycled rare earth elements (magnets) in its production.
• Fairbuds’ greenhouse gas emissions are reduced through the use of recycled materials. For the unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions per Fairbuds sold, the company contributes to CO2 reduction projects, certified according to the high requirements of Gold Standard. The amount the company funds for these projects is based on the carbon emissions created during the life cycle of their products.
