Foscam IP cameras are regularly tested on pcactive.nl and in the computer magazine PC-Active, such as the Foscam V8P WiFi outdoor camera and the Foscam S41 outdoor camera. Foscam recently reported that there will be a longer warranty period for their security cameras. What does that mean?
Benefits of warranty extension:
• Longer protection: with a 3-year warranty period you benefit from an extra year of protection against factory defects and defects that fall under the standard warranty conditions.
• Cost savings: less worry about unexpected (repair) costs and replacement costs.
• Increased reliability: with the extended warranty period, Foscam underlines the confidence in the quality and durability of the products.
• More (customer) service: with the extended warranty period you get a longer period of support and service from Foscam. NB: Even outside the standard warranty, you can continue to count on support via the Dutch helpdesk.
• Increased value of Foscam products: Foscam increases the value of the products due to the longer warranty period. This allows you to expand and/or upgrade your security system without any worries.
Additional information about the Foscam warranty extension
The warranty extension is applied automatically, you do not have to do anything. NB: the extended warranty period applies to products purchased from November 1, 2024 and this extended warranty period applies exclusively to Foscam purchases via www.foscam.nl and Foscam resellers as stated on the ‘Where to buy page’. Products purchased before then will carry the standard 2-year manufacturer’s defect warranty.
