With the help of the Health application for iPhone or iPad it is possible to record your active life. This can be done automatically using an Apple Watch and the workout app or other tools, but apps can also write data to the app.
Has an app or accessory added incorrect data to Health? Then you can remove it so that it does not affect your statistics and performance. If necessary, you can then make a correction manually. We explain how to delete the data in health and add it manually.
Remove incorrect data from Health
- Open the Health app
- Navigate to the ‘Data’ tab
- Go to the part you want to edit
- Open the health component, for example ‘steps’
- Scroll all the way down to ‘Show all data’

Tap ‘Edit’ to remove items from the list using the red dot and delete button. If the list is divided into multiple components, for example days, tap this first to delete other components.
After tapping ‘Change’ you will also have the option to delete all data. Please note, after deleting you cannot undo this.
Manually add health data
You can also manually add data to the Health app. Go to the tab ‘Facts‘ and navigate to a category such as Activity. Tap an item, for example walking and running distance, and manually add details via the ‘ buttonAdd data‘. Enter the requested values and tap ‘add’.
