DarkMatter is a great example of how Apple TV Plus is now the place for interesting science fiction. A man finds himself in an alternate version of his world, while the version of him that lived there now infiltrates his family.
9. The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin
The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin is pure British fun, with Noel Fielding. The presenter and actor plays a robber who is actually too soft for this hard world. That creates hilarious situations.
8. Disclaimer
Cate Blanchett plays a famous journalist who receives a book in which her own big secrets are revealed. Her life completely collapses, while as a viewer you gradually learn more about what really happened.
7. Bad Sisters (season 2)
The first season of Bad Sisters was a big surprise. The series was about a group of sisters who wanted to kill their brother-in-law, but failed each time. It was exciting to see whether the quality of this season could be maintained, because the source material had run out. Good news: that worked out quite well!
6. Presumed Innocent
Jake Gyllenhaal plays a prosecutor who becomes a suspect when one of his colleagues is found dead. It doesn’t help that he had an affair with her. Presumed Innocent is a thrill ride for anyone who loves watching courtroom dramas.
5. Pachinko (season 2)
In this beautiful series we follow different generations of a family, in Korea and Japan. Sunja is a Korean woman who lives in Japan in 1945 and tries to raise her sons there. In 1989 Tokyo, her grandson tries to make money from the economic uncertainty of that time. A layered, beautifully made series.
4.Criminal Record
Two detectives are brought together by an anonymous phone call. One is young, driven and wants to do everything to uncover the truth. The other has been around longer and wants to save his own skin at all costs. The extremely exciting series is led by actors Cush Jumbo and Peter Capaldi.
3. Slow Horses (season 4)
Every season of Slow Horses is a party. Are they the somewhat clumsy, but beloved spies? Is it your entire own atmosphere? Are the dialogues well written? Or is it Gary Oldman in his favorite role? Yes, that’s all. This season, tensions are higher than ever and it’s fun from start to finish.
2. Shrinking (season 2)
Shrinking watching feels like getting a hug. The series is about a psychologist who restarts his life after the sudden death of his wife. The great characters each have their own problems and that is often emotional, but everything always turns out okay. It sometimes feels unbelievable that these characters are in each other’s lives, but that is of course because the central person has disappeared before the series started.

In Silo we dive underground, where humanity lives while the earth is uninhabitable. If you go against the rules, you will be sent outside. In this setting, Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette Nichols, a mechanic who is given the role of sheriff in the first season and, as a problem solver, searches for answers a little too much.
In this second season we dive into a second silo, we meet new characters and everyone is in danger. What great television this is. And we have good news: there will be two more seasons, which will neatly wrap up the story.
