Musk promises two new Tesla models

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is said to have added two more models to the lineup after the Cyber Truck.

That is news, because it was previously said that the range after the truck can be considered ‘provisional’ as complete. However, the well-known conference call in response to the quarterly figures always leads to new insights, including on this theme. According to the news site Electrek, Musk plans a compact model and a ‘higher capacity vehicle’ for the future, or a vehicle with more seats than usual.

There have been rumors about the compact model, a car under the Model 3. A more compact and cheaper model would be very welcome, especially for China, although we also see a future in Europe.

With the ‘passenger transporter’ Musk probably refers to a ‘van’ for use in the hyperloop tunnels of The Boring Company. However, according to Musk, such a vehicle would also be very useful above ground in cities.

The generally well-informed Electrek calls the predictions distant future music, and we agree with that. For the time being, Tesla is busy building the new Cybertruck factory, delivering as many Model Ys as possible and marketing the Semi and Roadster.

When it comes to completing the Tesla line-up, it is also important to pay attention to the initial letters of the models. The current range spells ‘S3XY’ (Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y). Ultimately there should be ‘S3XY CARS’ (‘sexy cars’), after adding the Cybertruck, Roadster, Semi and ATV, the ‘Cyberquad’.
