Kawasaki develops camera system for Ninja 1100 SX

With cars it has become the most normal thing to ride with a dashcam, but with motorbikes it is still a thing. Kawasaki has now developed a camera system for the Ninja 1100 SX … for the Japanese market.

The internet is full of it and entire TV programs are filled with it, with dashcam images that have directed the most insane antics. The images are very entertaining, but that is not the reason that dashcams are used. The images are perfect evidence in an accident. It is therefore not surprising that more and more manufacturers have included dashcam systems in the accessory package in the automotive world.

As the first manufacturer, Kawasaki has now developed a camera system for the Ninja 1100 SX and then specifically for the Japanese market, where the 1100 SX is equipped with two cameras as standard. A facing camera to the left at the height of the mirror and a camera placed backwards at the license plate holder.

The camera system is fully integrated, but where the images are stored is not clear to us, our Japanese is not that good either. It is clear that the camera system has GPS functionality. That’s pretty handy if you want to project your route on the map at home, but also useful in the case of a crash.
