The iPhone has the smallest screen of all Apple devices except for the Apple Watch. Within some apps such as the Agenda app it is therefore a challenge for Apple to continue to display data structured and clearly.
Since iOS 18, iPados 18 and macOS Sequoia, the memories from the memories are also visible in the agenda app. To display this extra data in the agenda app, Apple has added new display options on the iPhone.
Monitoring monthly display for agenda app on iPhone
By adding memories of the agenda app, Apple has also adjusted the monthly display for iPhone. From now on this shows a list of all items of the selected day.
In addition, there are other views that you can use.
- Open the agenda app on your iPhone
- Tap on the left next to the magnifying glass on the display symbol
- Choose a desired display
There are three different views available:

Compact display
In the Compact display You will see a monthly overview and under the date the duration of the activities on that day will be displayed with colored dots and lines. The colors correspond to the color assigned to the type of agreement.
Stacked display
Display Stacked With multiple colored stripes, the agreements and memories are displayed per date, the more stripes, the more activities are scheduled on that day.
Details display
The ‘Detailed‘display is a supplement to the Stacked Display, part of the description is also displayed in the beam. This makes agreements easier to recognize.
List of display
The List Display is the most comprehensive display. At the top of the window you see a monthly calendar with detailed information from all appointments of a selected day.
Do you use the display compact, stacked or details? Then you can open a day view by tapping one day. You can possibly split this overview into a display with one day, several days or as a list.
