Samsung has just officially announced the full specifications of the Galaxy S25 Edge, the slankest smartphone of the Samsung Galaxy S series. The Galaxy S25 Edge builds on the earlier devices from this S-series, but Samsung is looking for the edges with this model: it has been made as thin as possible with maximum performance. Because it is so thin, it fits easily (there) in your pocket. And where I keep my smartphone in one of the front bags, there are many people who put their smartphone in the ‘butt bag’. According to Samsung, the target group is therefore gene or young fashion -conscious women who have an eye for design, even more than for the Galaxy Flip. And you can see that again in the colors: no striking colors but the somewhat ‘softer’ colors from the S25 series. The bright colors are more for the kids …
High -design
With a thin housing of 5.8 mm (note: the camera island is not included in this), a weight of 163 grams and a screen size of 6.7 inches (the same size as the S25 Plus), the Galaxy S25 Edge is a remarkable example of technology. The curved edges and the sturdy titanium frame fortunately offer sustainable protection with daily use. For the Display at the front, for example, the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 used from new glass ceramics. Moreover, it is well protected against dust and water with an IP68 rating.

Processor, memory, battery
This S25 Edge also has a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy as we know it from the other S25 devices. The Galaxy S25 Edge also remains cool with long -term use thanks to a re -configured vapor room that is now thinner and yet wider for a gradual heat outlet. He also has 12 GB of memory and or 256 GB or 512 GB of storage memory. According to Samsung you can work all day with a battery of 3900 mAh, we will of course test that. Wired you can charge the edge with 25 watts, drayed with 15 watts.
Portable 200MP camera
The wide-angle lens of 200 MP must maintain the good camera experience of the Galaxy S series and take Nightography to a new level. Thanks to the high resolution, users receive sharper photos while retaining clear shots in a large pixel size – where images are recorded with more than 40% improved brightness in low light environments. The ultra-wide 12MP sensor has autofocus and makes clear, detailed macro photography possible.
The Galaxy S25 Edge has the same Provisual Engine that is optimized for the Galaxy S25, but with pro-grade improvements, such as sharp details for clothing or plants and natural skin tones in portraits. The AI-controlled editing functions of Samsung Galaxy, including functions such as Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist, have all been taken from the Galaxy S25 series.
Galaxy AI
The Galaxy S25 Edge integrates Galaxy AI on almost every touchpoint and offers natural and context-conscious mobile AI experiences. Users have access to personalized, multimodal AI options that secured their personal data by Samsung Knox Vaul. Now letter and now bar now include integrations with third-party apps for more convenience and useful memories during daily commuting, the food and much more.
Thanks to the extensive integration of Samsung Galaxy with Google, the Galaxy S25 Edge brings the latest developments from Gemini to more users. For example, Gemini has new options for the camera and sharing the screen; Users can show Gemini live what they see on their screen or in the world around them, while they are talking to someone at the same time.
Experiences with Galaxy Ai on the Galaxy S25 Edge are not only practical, they have privacy as a starting point. AI processing on the device ensures that data is safely stored by Samsung Knox Vault.
Availability
The Galaxy S25 Edge will be officially available from 30 May 2025 in the Benelux, the pre-order starts from May 13, 2025. The new Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in a number of colors, including Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack and Titanium icyblue. The 256GB variant will be for sale for a suggested retail price of € 1,249 and the 512GB variant for a suggested retail price of € 1,369.
Between 13 May 2025 and 1 June 2025, an exclusive promotion applies in which you receive an upgrade to 512GB when purchasing the new Galaxy S25 Edge 256GB.
