Mercedes-Benz expands the price list with plug-in hybrid versions of the B-class and of the CLA and GLA. The 250e versions have the exact same drivetrain.
Virtually the complete compact model family from Mercedes-Benz is now available as a plug-in hybrid. The A-class was previously presented as A 250e, a plug version whose prices were already known. Mercedes-Benz now also pulls out the plug-in hybrid versions of the B-class and of the GLA and CLA. In addition, the brand immediately puts Dutch price tags on it.
The new Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrids all have the same drivetrain. That means that in every model you will find a 1.3-liter four-cylinder that delivers 160 hp and 230 Nm. This petrol engine is assisted by a 102 hp and 330 Nm strong electric motor, which brings the system power to 218 hp and 450 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via an eight-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The battery pack is 15.6 kWh in all cases. On a 7.4 kW AC AC wallbox, the package can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in one hour and 45 minutes. On a 24 kW DC charger, the battery pack can be charged from 10 to 80 percent full in about 25 minutes. Good news: all plug versions are allowed to tow a 1,600 kg braked trailer.
B class
The plug-in hybrid version of the B-class, the B 250e, has a starting price of € 46,231. This makes it slightly more expensive than the previously presented plug version of the A-class. After all, the A 250e changes ownership from € 44,465. The B 250e comes 70 kilometers on one battery charge, which gives the car a particularly strong electric range in this segment. In 6.8 counts it is at a speed of 100 km / h. Its top speed is 235 km / h.
CLA
Prefer a CLA with a plug? No problem. In that case you can even opt for the CLA Coupé and the CLA Shooting Brake. After all, both are available as CLA 250th. The CLA 250e Coupé has a starting price of € 49,045 and comes 72 kilometers on one battery charge. Those who do not have to reach that electric range can pedal their licked lined Benz to a speed of 100 km / h in 6.8 seconds. Its top speed: 240 km / h. The CLA 250e Shooting Brake, which costs € 50,327, comes 2 kilometers less on a full load than its sedan brother, but here too, an electric range of 70 kilometers is very decent. In 6.9 seconds, the CLA Shooting Brake runs at a speed of 100 km / h. The limit has been reached at a speed of 235 km / h.
GLA
Then there is the GLA 250e, a car that will eventually have a fully electric brother in the form of the EQA. The plug-in hybrid variant is the least far from the bunch due to its higher carriage. The electric range is set at 62 kilometers. The crossover launches in 100 seconds at a speed of 100 km / h and has a top speed of 220 km / h. Mercedes-Benz asks for at least € 52,062.
