MV Agusta gives update latest developments

The official transfer of ownership from Pierer Mobility AG to Art of Mobility is approaching the final phase. This is a crucial step in the company’s strategy to confirm its independence and to strengthen its position on the global engine market.

MV Agusta also says he will start a significant expansion of its international activities. The company is preparing for opening independent regional offices to manage the most important markets in Europe, America, Oceania and Asia.

In addition to this strategy, agreements have been concluded with private importers to guarantee extensive global coverage. The entire existing dealer network remains confirmed and operational, while efforts are made to expand this network in strategic markets worldwide.

The parts activities continue to function for the time being in collaboration with the KTM logistics network, without changes in the service levels. MV Agusta, however, is working on completing an agreement with a leading global logistics partner for the management of the full supply chain of spare parts, from storage to delivery on the last kilometers.

This initiative is aimed at guaranteeing the global delivery of spare parts within seven working days after placing the order. The transition to a completely independent distribution system for spare parts is expected to be completed at the end of 2025.

Since the signing of the divorce agreement in January 2025, MV Agusta has carried out a series of strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and brand identity. The design department of the company, Centro Stile, is moved to the historic MV Agusta factory in Schiranna. This relocation ensures more synergy between the departments, streamlines the product development processes and strengthens the Made in Varese heritage of the company.

At the same time, a new factory layout has been implemented with a slim production model. This has led to significant improvements in process efficiency and cost optimization, in particular through the internalization of various production phases that were previously managed externally.

At the product front, MV Agusta is in the last stages of the development of a new model, which will be unveiled just before EICMA 2025. According to MV, this motorcycle will mean a breakthrough in its segment and only contain 1% of the parts of the previous generation, which underlines MV Agusta’s dedication to innovation and excellence.

Looking ahead to 2026 and further, the development of additional new models is in full swing, with plans to renew the entire product range and enter new market segments.

Moreover, MV Agusta has started the development of a new engine platform that has to define hyperperformance in the motorcycle world. The first prototype of this new generation engine will debut on the EICMA 2025.

MV Agusta has also taken the opportunity to reposition its price strategy. The new pricing reflects a balance between maintaining the exclusivity of the brand and responding to the changing requirements of the market. To improve the accessibility of the product, financial payment options are introduced on most European markets, such as cash payments and balloon financing.

MV Agusta underlines confidence in product quality and the pursuit of customer satisfaction by introducing a five -year factory warranty. This warranty applies retroactively to all models from the Ottantesimo Collection, the F3 Competizione and the full LXP and Enduro Veloce range.

MV Agusta continues to focus on delivering exceptional motorcycles, stimulating global growth and improving the experience of property for motorcyclists around the world.

Luca Martin, Executive Director of MV Agusta Motor Spa:

“What we now achieve at MV Agusta is really special. Given the challenges with which we have been confronted with KTM since the first days of the financial problems of KTM, the progress that has been made in such a short time speaks volumes about the strength and dedication of our people. In every area – operations, design, production and much more – we have seen a remarkable response.

From Schiranna to every part of our global network, the team has embraced this new chapter with determination, passion and a deep sense of responsibility. I am proud of how far we have come together and even more motivated through the road that lies in front of us. MV Agusta not only confirms its independence, but also lays the foundation for a new era that is built on excellence and authenticity. “
