Apple has released the fourth test version of iOS 26! These improvements come to the iPhone with iOS 26 beta 4.

A new test version of iOS 26 is available again! Apple has released iOS 26 beta 4, which mainly brings small improvements to the iPhone. This is now the fourth test version of iOS 26, which is primarily intended to resolve software errors. That is not all, because Apple is again implementing changes in the design of the operating system. Liquid Glass is again more visible in the latest test version.
In the third test version of iOS 26, Apple decided to make the glass elements in the design less transparent. The company did that to improve readability, but this was at the expense of the new Liquid Glass. These glass elements return to iOS 26 Beta 4. Menubalks in applications such as photos, Apple Music and the App Store are therefore more transparent in the latest test version.
More changes in the design
The new transparent design in the reporting center has also been adjusted. Liquid Glass ensures that all notifications and elements seem to be in the Glass reporting center, but that was at the expense of readability. To improve that, the background is darkened when the reporting center is opened in iOS 26 beta 4. In this way the new design is retained, while reports are clearly readable.
In addition, Apple is implementing a number of minor changes in the design of iOS 26 beta 4. The symbol of the camera app has been adjusted and the menu bar in the application works more smoothly. With iOS 26, the camera app looks completely different, for which Apple has added a report in the fourth test version. All users are shown this notification when they first open the camera app in iOS 26.
