There are many accessibility functions available on the iPhone, which can be useful for almost all users. One of those settings is ‘reduce movement’. With this function you reduce the animations of the operating system, so that applications open faster. The animations are accelerated, so that your iPhone does not get too slow in certain situations. You have to adjust the following settings for this:
- Open ‘settings’ on your iPhone;
- Go to ‘accessibility’;
- Tap ‘Movement’;
- Switch on “reduce movement”.
Have you enabled ‘reduction of movement’? In that case animations work much faster and your iPhone feels less slow. This can be seen especially when you open applications on the iPhone’s home screen.
