QJMotor – a brand that, according to its own words, “is working on the road internationally” – now also officially also tries to stand out seriously in the Benelux. De Trump: the SRK 921 RR, a super sport that combines design, technology and performance, and all for a suggested retail price of € 15,499.
Under De Kuip is the four-in-line that officially delivers 129 hp and 93 Nm. Does not sound bad (but also not impressive), until you consider that in the first instance there were 160 hp, a value that makes an impression in the sporting world. In the United Kingdom, the SRK 921 RR received that 160 hp indeed at 13,600 rpm and 90 Nm at 11,000 rpm, but for the Benelux and wider EU market the power has been reduced to 129 hp. For those who want a really fat entry super sport, that remains a bit sour.
A salient detail: the 921cc four -cylinder is the result of a collaboration between QJMotor’s parent company Qianjiang and MV Agusta. MV would use the block in a new generation of four-cylinder models, but those plans were killed when MV Agusta was taken over by KTM. QJMotor has now applied the block in the SRK 921 RR, where subtle design influences of MV Agusta are still clearly visible. In other words: the SRK 921 RR is actually the QJ version of the MV that never came.
The bicycle part does more justice to the promise: a half-timbered frame with single-sided rear-wheel suspension, fully adjustable Marzocchi-upside-down front fork and rear shock absorber, an adjustable steering damper and brembo brakes. Everything needed for stable, direct and pleasant sporty driving.
On the electronic level, the SRK 921 RR is well equipped: Ride-by-Wire, Traction control, Bosch Bend-ABS (regulated by a 6-axle IMU), Swipperclutch and Quickshifter on and back. Whether the IMU also controls the traction control-and what makes that angle-dependent-is not mentioned anywhere, but it could be. Three driving modes (Normal, Rain and Sport) make it easy to adjust the engine to every situation. All information appears clearly on a 5-inch TFT display.
In terms of looks, QJmotor leans firmly on Italian finesse: tight tub work, LED lighting all around and an aerodynamic styling that clearly gives a nod to racing. Combine that with modern technology and you have a machine that seriously participates in both visually and on paper.

With the arrival of the SRK 921 RR, QJMotor shows that they also want a place at the sporty table in the Benelux. Whether the established brands are awake about it is still to be seen. One thing is certain: with this price tag, modern technology and performance with which you may not be the Blits at the bar, but with which you will certainly have enough on the street, the SRK 921 RR is an interesting option for sporting drivers who are looking for an affordable entry in super sport – a place where many brands offer remarkably little in recent years.
