What you have to be careful is the camera island. You can easily damage the edges of this island. And those damage can no longer be wiped away.

The scratches do not stand out with every version of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. The dark blue version of the iPhone is particularly affected. After all, you can see the scratches easier on a dark background.
