Apple already presented the most important new products in September, but we expect even more this year, 7 even in October.
Apple releases 7 new products
Although it is still not certain whether Apple is holding an October event this year, we expect new products anyway. These 7 Apple products are probably coming.
1. New Apple TV 4K
It has been three years since the current Apple TV 4K came on the market. There will probably be a new version in October, with the following improvements:
- A17 Pro chip: an upgrade compared to the current A15 Bionic chip.
- Support for Apple Intelligence.
- New N1 chip for wireless connections.
- Possibly a camera with center internship.
2. HomePod Mini 2
Apple probably does not present one, but two home products in October. The second product is a new HomePod Mini. The current HomePod Mini has long been ready for an upgrade. It was almost five years ago (November 2020) that it came on the market.
Just like the new Apple TV 4K, the HomePod Mini 2 will probably support Apple Intelligence and get the new N1 chip. There are also rumors that sound quality has improved and that it contains a renewed Ultra Wideband chip.
3. IPad Pro M5
Last year’s iPad Pro was an important upgrade thanks to the Ultradun design, new accessories and the very first M4 chip. There will soon be an iPad Pro M5, but it is expected that this is primarily an update of the specifications.
In addition to the new M5 chip, the iPad Pro will probably get the new N1 wireless chip. We also expect 12 GB of memory on some models and 16 GB on others, and possibly dual cameras on the front.
4. AirTag 2
The airtag is not a product that needs a new version every year. But now that it has been on the market more than four years ago since its original airtag, the expectations for a successor are high. Rumor has that airtag 2 get three important upgrades:
- A new Ultra Wideband chip.
- Improved privacy functions.
- Accurate search with a larger reach.
For the rest, the new airtag will probably look largely the same and also work the same as the current version.
5. Vision Pro M5
Apple Vision Pro was launched in early 2024 and has difficulty gaining popularity among consumers. In the Netherlands, the Vision Pro is not even officially released. Yet Apple will soon be coming up with a new Vision Pro model, but that will not make much change.
According to rumors, the Vision Pro 2 is equipped with an M5 or M4 chip, a new headband for more comfort and possibly in a new black color. Furthermore, the Vision Pro 2 will have the same shape and functions as the original.
6. MacBook Pro M5
In the past, Apple has also launched new MacBook Pro models in or around October. It is therefore obvious that a MacBook Pro with M5 chip will be released this month. Mark Gurman van Bloomberg has previously indicated that the MacBook Pro M5 may be postponed until the beginning of 2026. But recently Gurman said that a launch is still possible in the autumn.
7. New studio display
In addition to a MacBook Pro M5, Gurman also expects two new Mac image screens. Probably one or both screens are the successors of the Studio Display.
