This is part of Belkin’s first Qi2 25W certified collection, an important addition to this charging dock.

Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1
Apple and Belkin have had a good collaboration for years; Belkin is always on hand when new Apple products are launched. In recent years, the company has released several MagSafe products, and since the arrival of Qi2, the company has focused on this technology. After all, this is universal and also available in smartphones and devices from other brands.
For this review, we tested the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station. The charging station is equipped with an adjustable Qi2 25W wireless charging surface for a smartphone, a charging module for the Apple Watch with fast charging and a 5W charging surface to wirelessly charge AirPods and other Qi devices.
You connect the charging station to the mains power using the supplied adapter. So you only use one power point to charge three devices at the same time. A great solution for a bedside table or desk.
Premium materials and finishing
The UltraCharge Pro is distinguished by its high-quality materials and chrome finish, combined with soft-touch silicone material. The charging station has a compact form factor of 116.96mm x 86.4mm x 102.68mm and weighs approximately 545g. This weighted base provides stability and allows easy one-handed magnetic placement. Belkin has also paid attention to sustainability: the housing is made from 85% post-consumer recycled materials.
The sleek and foldable design offers two advantages: it is easier to take the charger with you when traveling and it blends in more with the environment. Both the iPhone and Watch stay in place thanks to the magnetic connection, a solution for wireless charging.
Adjustable Qi2 charger
A striking feature is the adjustable angle up to 90 degrees, allowing the device to be used in both landscape and portrait mode. This is ideal for video calling, watching movies while charging, or using Apple’s Stand-By feature. The charging station can even be laid flat at 180 degrees for discreet charging sessions. The Apple Watch charger is stuck and unfortunately you cannot change its position.
The magnet is powerful enough to hold the smartphone in place, but also to change the position of the charger when your iPhone is attached. Of course, it is important that your iPhone case also has a magnet.
ChillBoostâ„¢ active cooling technology
The most innovative aspect of the UltraCharge Pro is the ChillBoostâ„¢ active cooling technology. Belkin’s own development specifically designed for their Qi2 25W certified chargers. This technology provides temperature control up to 7 degrees Celsius cooler than standard chargers.

The ChillBoostâ„¢ active cooling combines several advanced elements to keep charging your device as safe as possible.
- Temperature sensors: Advanced sensors continuously monitor the temperature and adjust the charging speed if it threatens to become too hot. Ideal for long-term use.
- Internal fan & air vents: The Qi2 charger has a built-in fan with air vents to dissipate heat from the charging coil. This actively dissipates heat while you charge. This fan is equipped with an on/off switch so you can choose maximum cooling or silent operation.
- Optimized internal design: The internal structure is constructed in such a way that heat is optimally distributed and dissipated, with special coil materials that minimize energy loss (and therefore extra heat).
The combination of temperature sensors and active cooling ensures that you can charge safely wirelessly. The internal firmware controls the charging power dynamically based on the current temperature, so that the charging process is not slowed down by overheating. The fan is barely audible, but as a user you can choose to switch it off with the on/off switch on the back. If the charging station threatens to become too hot, the charging speed is reduced.
Full Qi2 support
Qi2 is more than a magnetic ring to attach the device. Thanks to official support, the 3-in-1 Belkin Charging Pad can charge faster wirelessly up to 25W. Normally the iPhone is limited to 7.5W charging via Qi, but Qi2 products support fast charging up to 25W. The Qi charger for AirPods has a maximum power of 5W. Fast charging for iPhone and Apple Watch
Belkin is one of the few manufacturers that offers fast charging for the Apple Watch series 7 or newer. Not all their chargers are suitable for this, but the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 well. The charging station in practice
The charging station is available in a sand-colored (Sand) and dark gray (Charcoal) finish with the underside provided with an anti-slip coating. The charging dock is made of high-quality and soft materials. Thanks to the weighted base, you can easily use the charger with one hand.
The magnets for iPhone and Apple Watch are strong enough to stay in place. There is also enough space to charge your Apple Watch without the straps on your smartphone getting in the way.
The charging point for the AirPods is equipped with an LED indicator. This turns white when a device is being charged wirelessly. If something goes wrong, it turns orange. This can happen if you do not place a device properly on the charging surface or if there is an object on the charging surface that cannot be charged. The LED light only provides information on the charging point for the AirPods, it does not provide information about the battery status of the device.
Speaking of AirPods, the charging point can also be used for other Qi-enabled devices. This means that you can also charge another iPhone, smartphone or wireless accessories, for example.
Now we have to admit that the AirPods part is unnecessary in most situations. You can also charge the AirPods via the iPhone charger and some models even via the Apple Watch charger in landscape orientation. Still, it is a useful addition and ensures that you have enough space for the other devices.
Use of covers
If you want to use a case in combination with the iPhone or AirPods, that is no problem, as long as it is not thicker than 3 mm. So you don’t have to remove the case if you want to charge a device. It is recommended that the iPhone case has a magnetic MagSafe ring, so that it is powerful enough to stay in place.
Compatibility
It’s no surprise that the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Charging Station best used in combination with an iPhone 12 (Pro) or newer. You can still use older iPhone models because they have supported wireless charging since the iPhone 8 (Plus), but do not have a built-in magnetic ring. This is also the case for the iPhone SE 3rd generation and iPhone 16e.
Qi2 25W certified devices will charge at a maximum of 25W. Other Qi2 certified devices will charge at a maximum of 15W.
