View the remaining charging time of your iPhone

Have you noticed that since iOS 26 you can see exactly how long it will take before your iPhone is fully charged. Connect your device to the charger and you will immediately see an estimated remaining charging time on the lock screen and in the Battery settings. This way you know at a glance when your device reaches the charging percentage of 80% or 100%.

Apple also takes into account set charging limits in this view, such as Optimized Charging or Energy Saving Mode. The displayed time therefore smartly adapts to your charging preferences and usage patterns.

Since iOS 26, you can see how long your iPhone still needs to charge. When your device is connected to the charger, the remaining charging time of your iPhone will immediately appear on the lock screen. The current percentage is displayed above the clock, together with the time remaining to a specific level.

You can view the remaining charging time of your iPhone when the device is charged with the cable or wirelessly via Qi, Qi2 or MagSafe.

At the top of the settings you can find the estimated remaining charging time. At a glance you can see how long the device still needs to charge to 80% and 100%. Charging limits are also taken into account.

Battery usage is also shown per app, including how much time an app was active on the screen, running in the background, and how many notifications the app sent. You can immediately see whether an app uses more power than average for your use. Bar graphs show how much battery you have used per day. You can see peaks and valleys at a glance, and can view details per day about active and passive use, charging time and which apps were responsible for the consumption.
