A new update for your iPhone is coming soon. But when is the release of iOS 26.3 really? iPhoned tells you!
iOS 26.3 release: when will the update come to your iPhone?
The Release Candidate of iOS 26.3 has recently been released and that means we can start the countdown to the final version. Apple always takes the final step with the RC before the final release. This is when iOS 26.3 comes to your iPhone.
The update usually appears a week after the Release Candidate. That means the release of iOS 26.3 is expected to be Monday, February 9 or Tuesday, February 10. Updates often come in the evening around 7 p.m. (Dutch time), so make sure you’re ready then.

New features in iOS 26.3
However, don’t expect huge innovations, because iOS 26.3 is mainly about smaller improvements related to European regulations. For example, from iOS 26.3 onwards, third-party accessories will have access to functions that were previously mainly for Apple devices.
This means, among other things, that smartwatches from other brands will soon also be able to receive iPhone notifications. Pairing wireless devices also becomes easier, because you only have to hold them close to your iPhone. This is comparable to connecting Apple’s AirPods.

Furthermore, switching to Android is made easier with the ‘Transfer to Android’ feature. You hold your new Android device next to your iPhone and then transfer photos, messages, notes and apps wirelessly. However, some sensitive data, such as health data, Bluetooth devices and locked notes, will not be included. You will then have to transfer this manually afterwards.
In iOS 26.3 you can also get started with new iPhone wallpapers. Apple comes with three wallpapers in the style of the Weather app, which automatically adapt to the weather in your location. Handy, because you can see at a glance on your lock screen whether you can expect rain. And because each Weather wallpaper has its own look, you can also fine-tune it to suit your taste.
