Apple will launch a new version of the iPad in March and this time it has one very important improvement – this is what you need to know.
iPad 2026 has an important improvement
Apple released another new version of the iPad in 2025 and we expect another one in March 2026. The 2025 version still runs on an A16 Bionic chip. It looks like the upcoming version will have a fast A19 chip. That is already a significant upgrade, but the new iPad 2026 will have another important improvement.
This improvement of the iPad 2026 also solves the biggest shortcoming of the previous version. We’re talking about support for Apple Intelligence. It is quite strange that Apple’s latest iPad (2025) still does not support Apple Intelligence. Apple has apparently now realized this, because with the iPad 2026 this is a thing of the past. Support for Apple Intelligence on the iPad 2026 is possible thanks to the A19 chip and 8 GB of RAM.
Special Apple Experience
We no longer have to wait long for the iPad 2026 with the important improvement. Apple recently announced an event that will take place on Wednesday, March 4. This ‘Special Apple Experience’ will take place simultaneously in New York, London and Shanghai, starting at 3:00 PM Dutch time.
Apple has sent invitations to journalists and other famous people. They will probably be the first to get started with all new Apple products, including the iPad 2026, on Wednesday, March 4. We therefore expect all new devices to be presented earlier that week. Probably via press releases, as has happened many times in recent years.
