During monotonous manual tasks in production environments, workers can find it difficult to maintain motivation and quality. Prof. Dr. Jörg Wollert from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Aachen University of Applied Sciences is working with his team on the research project GamiPro on the idea of combining industrial work processes with elements from gaming. Integrating the work steps into a game should design the work in such a way that employees not only become more efficient, but are also motivated at work.
